Hersonissos welcomed the new season with a great party last Saturday in Matrix club!Carl Cox was the guest DJ and as you can imagine the party would be unforgettable!

It has been like 6 years since the last appearance of Carl Cox in Crete,that was again in Hersonissos,in Homus open-air club,so the fans of the "green mile" were impatient for his next appearance!

It started as rumour,3weeks ago but finally wasnt just a rumour,it was the greatest party of last years in Hersonissos.

Fantastic music,amazing vibes,happy mood and atmosphair and of course lots of hundreds clubbers in a cram full Matrix club.Carl Cox appeared at about 2.30 in the morning and till the time went 6.30,he was on the decks doing what he knows best,having the dance floor on fire.

I have to notice here that this was the unique appeareance of Carl Cox in Greece,in 2008,which is a great point for Hersonissos!

Actually he is not appearing so often,and being a citizen of the world he has invitations from anywhere in the planet you can imagine.So after London,Newcastle,Liverpool,Dusseldorf,Munich,Miami,San Fransisco,Karakas,Rio de Janeiro,Hersonissos and Matrix club was lucky to guest Carl Cox!

And it rally worth it!!!!!

A breath in Hersonisos night life

Last Saturday,Matrix club lived a summer night even though October has come for good and the season is low in Hersonisos.At this time of the year,from 20/9 to 20/10 universitiy schools from Slovenia and Croatia are making their annual exchursion.The last 5 years Hersonisos is the place that our neighbours from Balcan prefer.

The place was overcrowed like a famous dj would appear there,as it happened quiet often in the summr of 07 that is in the past already.Lucky? to be there i had the chance to hae some nice photos of this "red party"in Matrix club.

As i have realised,after almost 2 month having this blog,the nightlife of Hersonissos is one of the most interesting subjects for you.So it was time i give you some more infos,and of course pics..

So that is all for now,but stay tuned ,cause dj Sasha would be here on Thursaday,performing in Matrix club,but before that there is another protest of the OFI fans on Thursaday noon,13.00 o'clock,when the "Superligue"would have a meeting in Candia Maris hotel,in Iraklion.
I bet it would be an interesting week...

A day break in New York

So, have some pics from the busiest club at this time,New York beach club.New York is among with all the others is well-known here for the after-hour that is happening on Fridays and Saturdays.Those are the nights that all the clubs can stay open as long as they want.From Sunday to Thursday all the clubs should close at 04.00 otherwise the police is waiting to do it.After a month they have an hour more,so during the week they close at 05.00.For many reasons,some you could see in the pics above,NY is the last that closes in the weekends.Thats why all the crews of the bars and clubs are gathering there,for a drink,ok,that is not one,and the party is going on till the first hours of the morning.The pics that you see here are like two weeks ago,when another day break found me there.Well yesterday was another,i have slept only 4 h right now,but first take some subtitles for the pics and then i ll give you a report for last night.

1st,Ha,ha,starting with Makis,Budas is his nickname and you can understand why.A pose of his own,very succesfull i have to say.Makis or Buda,is a great guy from Hersonissos,always willing for fun and jokes.I have to send him this photo...

2nd,One of the reason that NY is the last to close.Just next to the beach,i just liked the view and then appeared these guys,and they were put in the photo.It is at the first week of May otherwise you would have seen people in the sea as well
