23rd,Dimitris is so happy that he gives a show for his guests,singing old time classic songs

25th Dimitris and Tamara are dancing zeibekiko together.Zeibekiko is a greek dance that one is dancing and the rest are applausing in the rythm.In this occasion they broke the tradion but who cares?

A big Greek-Dutch wedding

A big Greek-Dutch wedding took place yesterday,in the church of "Estavromenos",that means Jesus in the Cross,in Iraklion.After the wedding was a great party at "Palladium"club in Anopolis,where we had unforgetable time.Dimitris,the Greek part,and Tamara,she is the Dutch part,met in Hersonissos,while they were working together in Mouragio club.Something nice and strong started there for them,so when everybody learnt 2 years ago that Tamara is pregnant was very happy.The happyness actualy was double,like the twins that were going to come.A boy and a girl is for sure quiet a success.Now the babies are already more than 1 year old so after the wedding,there was the two christenings-baptisings of the babies.The girl took the name Danay and the boy ,George.

After the ceremonies all the guests of the couple gathered in "Paladium"and when Dimitris and Tamara came in the club-restaurant,the emotions were very strong.You see both of them are very nice guys,always standing by their friends thats why they are taking this love back.

Everybody danced,even the dutch family of Tamaras danced plenty of Greek and Cretan tradiotanal dances,the wine was plenty too,the food was delicious,so nobody wanted this party to finish.

What else shall i add?Of course!The father of the bride became by his happy dancing attitude the man of the show,till his new son took the mic and started to sing old classy greek songs that everybody loves.

The Dutch family left impressed from the way Greeks are celebrating,for sure happy that they have a relative relationship with Crete now on.

Bunjee jump in star beach

If you like adventures sports,if you wanna have your adrenaline to break the limits,then you have to try bunjee jumping.People that stay or coming here are luky to have this extreme sport in Star beach.100%safe,the crue is coming from Australia,very experienced,give it a try and i am sure as you land you will want to have another jump.To tell you the truth,you might be able to see it on the pics also,i was scared as i was going up,before the jump.But only on the first time.The secret for not being scared is not to look down.I did that fault.Everything was looking so tiny from the 48m,people were like ants.But if you are up there ,you jump,otherwise you are a chicken.I am not.Of course if you finally dont dare,you can go down by the elevator.The view though from this height was fantastic.For sure i recomend it to everyone unless you have heart-problems or you are suffering by dizziness.I ve done it totally 3 times,it is so refreshing,it is so nice when you aproaching the sea,and then the nutation for 3-4 times till the stuff from the ground is picking you up.It is so refrefreshing,epsecially the first time is the best.

In Crete there is another bunjee jump,in the region of Chania in a gorge,a bit higher,there is the height of 80 m.

But if you come in Hersonissos,and you want your adrenaline to have a "limit up"try it in Star Beach water park.

Advices for girls

A sad new came out the last days in local TV.A Denish girl is accusing two Albanians who are working in Hersonissos that they have raped her.It is something that is appearing once or twice every summer.Sometimes the defandant were not guilty,the truth was that the girl(i dont know about this occasion)have had sex with somebody by her willing and then was accusing her partener in order to earn some money after an agreement,for not going in court.
But as we say in Greece,where you see smoke,there is a flame.
For me living in Hersonissos,has been great so long.Too many girls are coming here,the temperature is high,it is the summer that everything happens easier,i have quiet a success.
I have been with girls that under different circumstances we would have something stronger than a week or two,affair.I have had one night stands as well,that happens everywhere,i suppose.But whether i was with a girl only for her holidays,longer,or for one night stand,i was and i am always respecting and giving to my partner.
As far as i know after chating with friends from the town,nobody had behaved bad to a girl.It is like you are shaming your town if you not gonna have the right behaviour.It is totaly different,if you girls go home,with a nice feeling becouse of a summer love,than to go back and have this ruining feelings about your holidays.Sometimes actually those affairs are ending in something happy,i have so many friends that are still in a relationship that started as a "summer love".

So here is my advice.Becouse whenever something with raping is appearing,has to do with Albanian men,just ignore them.Ok i know that is coming to you like racist but it is not something like that.I have quiet a few Albanian friends who are very nice guys.There are some that they do respect the girl that they are flirting.Take your time and judge them.The difference with the Greeks is that they are claiming that they are coming from Italy.Come on now,Italians are easy to be understood.Their style is totaly Italian,you can recognise them from far away.Except that they are on holidays only on August.Even from the accent is easy to be understood.Then,if they,are too "pushy",i mean the Albanians,ignore them.It is easy also to understand where they come from by the behaviour in the club.Greeks look like they are playing in home.They know everybody,bartenders,owners,even some of the people that are passing by,we are gonna talk to everyone.We gonna have some noise in the club,how can i explain that?
Something else is the names.Greeks have greek names.Kostas,Giorgos,Nikos,Manos,Yiannis,are names that you meet only in Greece.Ok mine is one that you dont meet so easy,after all my name is Cretan,even in mainland they dont know it but thats something else.Albanians have kind of english-italian names,like Eddy,Rafaelo,Arian etc.
Anyway just remember,in order not to have bad circumstances,if you are willing to have some sex in your holidays,get some respect firstly,judge the behaviour,declare the nationality,and trust the Greeks,especially the locals:).
After all,our reputations is going forward to us,as the best lovers in Europe,or maybe not only?

P.S.Of course this is a general opinion.I dont mean that it is impossible to have good time unless you have it with a Greek.At the end everthing has to do with the chemistry mix of two persons.And chemistry things have no nationalities...

Unfortunately,in this exchursion was the first time that i used my digital camera,so it had a small memory card and i couldnt have as many pics as i wanted.I promise though that in the next boat trip to Chrissi i will have many more...

The best exchursion,Chrissi island

I read often in different sites,or i hear from people that are coming in Hersonissos about their will to make a boat trip.The most popular boat trip is to Spinaloga.Spinaloga is a little island,just half an hour from Elounda.Since the 50s Spinaloga was a place that all the leprians were gathering.It was like a geto,in order not to ifect healthy people.At this times there was no cure for this disease so that was the solution that was used .Nowadays Spinaloga is just a deserted rocky island.It is an easy boat trip though that's why travel agencies are selling it to people that want to spend a day in a small cruise.
But it is such a pitty,that very few people are searching for a better boat trip.Those that are searching ,they are finding the best boat trip.Anybody that has done this boat trip,had a unique feeling.The feeling that you are in a paradise.
I am talking for the magnificent island of Chrissi.It is known as Gaidouronisi as well.It is located in the south east of Crete.Chrissi means Golden,and Gaiduronisi means island of dokeys.But there are not donkeys in the island.Chrissi is a protected place from UNESCO ,as a unique for its nature place.
Chrissi is located in the south east of Crete.You can go there by a little boat that departs from the harbour of Ierapetra.The boat would need only an hour to take you in Chrissi.In the island there is a taverna,a cafe and beach bar in the south beach.
It has a gorgeous beach,with blue-green water,white sand,it is fantastic.If you like you can camp there and spend a couple of days in the nature,next to the beach.As far as i know sometimes beach parties are happening in the beach,so it would be great for you to join.

So here are some pics,from OFI FANS protests about the double ownership,from players that played in both teams and from players that have written their name in the recent history of OFI.

1st,OFI-Panathinaikos,in the old stadium,Genti Koule,in the background you see Gate 4,the most fanatic part of the stadium.OFI FANS are looking for the second win against Panathinaikos since 1996.

2nd and 3rd,more than 5000 fans of OFI are protesting in the streets of Iraklion against the double ownership of their beloved team by Vardinogiannis family

In the small pics,1st, Nickos Machlas,the nature captain of OFI Creta,he was brought out by Gerald,he refused to go in Panathinaikos and had made a great career abroad,Vitese,Ajax,and Sevilla,being the top-scorer in 1998 of Europe.He came in OFI to finish his career,but his disagreement with the status of the doubleownership,led him out of the team

2nd small,an other Cretan player that refused to go to Panathinaikos,Stavrakakis,became a song from the funs becouse of his deny going in the greens.

3rdsmall,R.Gomez,the CostaRican striker,made a great career in OFI,almost led the team in a champion,but that is limmited only for three clubs in Greece

4th small,G.Koutsoupias,a nowadays hero for OFI fans,he scored against Panathinaikos in 1997 and left the biggest enemy of OFI fans out of Europe.Naturally another song,

by them for him.

5th small,,Eg.Geralds,the reformer of OFI Crete,being in the bench for 15 years,has made the team belonging in the top-5 of Greek clubs.He left cause he could not stand anymore the issue of the double ownership.

6th,Alexoudis,another player,that was brought out from Gerald,became a national player,being in OFI,then he went in Panathinaikos and destroyed his career

8th,Nikos Noblias,a great player ,played for OFI for 20 years,with a break of 3 years that he moved to...Panathinaikos.You see he wanted to win tittles in his career,and for OFI,even though the team was playing amazing football that was forbidden ...from the authorities.Greek F.A.,Refererees,Greek ligue and of course Vardinogiannis family.When he came back to OFI,he wasnt so welcomed by the fans that never liked his transfer,or any other transfer to or from Panathinaikos but with his performances he gained them again.

9th,Probably the biggest star that has ever played for OFI.Mohamadu Diarra was another discovery from Geralds,he was too good for us ,so he stayed only for one season.After a great career in F.C.Vittese and F.C.Luon,now he is playing for Real Madrid.Yeap he is,last year's transfer of Real,has already helped a lot the "mererengues".Unsurprisingly ,the only player of Madrid,that has started his Europe carreer in Greece...
